WOW Air’s long-haul budget carrier will be commencing its plans to fly to Vancouver in Canada from New Delhi, starting June 2019. The flights that were proposed on the New Delhi – Vancouver routes will be fully operational. The operations will commence on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, as said by the release.
Moreover, the WOW Air has announced the inaugural airfares. The airfares for the economy class will be starting from Rs 21,999. And for the business class travel, the New Delhi-Vancouver flight will cost around Rs 63,610. In May 2018, the transatlantic airline announced services from New Delhi to multiple destinations. These destinations include North America, Europe via its Reykjavik hub in Iceland from December onwards.
According to the Skuli Mogensen, founder and chief executive officer, Wow Air- We are extremely happy to announce the latest and new Flights from New Delhi to Vancouver. He further said that this new addition will surely give a desired boosting to the overall response from the Indian market. In addition to this, he said that we are eagerly waiting for the operations to begin from New Delhi in December.
The airline already connected the New Delhi with the following destinations- Montreal, Detroit, Orlando, Iceland, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Chicago. Talking about the layovers, then the flight to Vancouver will have 2 hours and 45 minutes in Iceland. As for the return journey, the layover period is will be 3 hours and 20 minutes, the officials of the airliner said.
At present, the airline is operational across North America & Europe’s 39 destinations. The fleet of Airbus consists of A320, A321, including A330 Airbuses.
