Singapore Airlines will also increase its operations in India by 17% more flights. Several other airlines, including Lufthansa and Swiss Air, plan to double their global operations.

Since Tata Sons have acquired Air India back after 69 years, they plan to add more flights and carriers to their airlines and increase Air India’s routes of traveling and destinations. The increase in the number of flights in operations will bring the balance between demand and supply back. Thus, sky-high airfares are expected to fall by 40% on international travel.
