How To Claim Refund From Air India Within 21 Days?

Conditions for the refund from Air India airlines

The airline allows you to claim refunds for a partially or fully used flight ticket and you can apply for a refund within a year of the flight ticket’s validity. If you have brought the ticket with cash payment, the airline will issue you a cheque of the same amount towards your credit card account (if you are the passenger). It cannot be processed towards a new card number or account.

For passengers who have made payments with debit cards, you will get an instant refund within 24 hours of a working business day. For credit card payments, it can take any time up to 21 days to return the amount of refund. Again, this will be refunded to the same account through which the payment was done; it won’t be processed towards a new card number or account.

If you desire the amount to be refunded into a different account, you must initiate a customer service special request either by phone or email. Subsequently, you should inform their staff about your requirements.
