Ryanair’s Website Crash Leaves the Passengers in Turmoil

Ryanair’s website crashed on November 19 that caused its customers to face check in fees of £55. After the website crashed, it was down for several hours and wasn’t up and running by even 10.20 pm. Being Europe’s big airline, Ryanair charges £55/person for checking in for air travel which means that its price was more than the air ticket itself.

With that many passengers expressed their frustration online flight ticket booking. While responding to the query, Ryanair says that it was nothing to do with the outag e, but the exact cause of crash wasn’t clear. Various customers totally refused to pay the fee should they be charged. According to other customers, they said that due to the issue of website, they were also charged for the flight tickets booking without any confirmation.

Earlier Ryanair had launched its Early Black Friday sale on November 19. There is a chance that it may have contributed to the servers being overloaded. Also it resulted in the prices of flights slashing by £30. However, when the website was finally up, various customers had a notion that they couldn’t book the flight tickets at the discounted prices.

A spokesperson from The Independent said that Ryanair has downplayed the crash and the website is running smoothly. While there was a brief hindrance yesterday and is now completely resolved.
