You can carry laptops, and such devices either carry-on or personal items, and the same will be included as a part of your cabin baggage.
Etihad airways allow the passengers to carry batteries, power banks, e-pipes, etc. as a part of carry-on baggage.
Such items can be kept in pockets and even purse. However, such items cannot be placed in the checked baggage for security issues.
Also, you can carry ten spare batteries, including your power banks.
Etihad airways carry 15 devices, including tablets, e-reader, mobile phones, laptops, and more. The only condition that implies with the baggage is that it should be switched off.
