The Canadian airline news flew in 2018 expanded their roots in case of both WestJet and Air Canada. The entire focus is on the premium including the highly coveted corporate traveller segments.
In the meantime, the low and ultra-low-cost carriers also staked their claim. In order to stay competitive, the mainline airliners introduced entry-level basic economy fares. Thereby adding more fare classes to the already loaded lineup.

The business class flight ticket booking are such a sought-after segment because they travel and spend more. In April 2018, Air Canada introduced the Air Canada Signature service, especially for international flights.
Similarly, in June 2018, Air Canada introduced selected flights within North America. According to the airlines, both Air Canada Signature Class brands and Air Canada Signature Service reflects ongoing refinements to its premium travel service.
For the past few years, Air Canada has gone through a whirlwind of new routes, in keeping with its plans for global expansion. Air Canada also introduced 74 new routes in the Spring and Summer.

In early 2019, ten Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners ordered by WestJet will arrive in Calgary, and the next two in April. Moreover, from 2020 to 2024, the airline has subsequent options to add ten more aircrafts.
Talking about the capacity, the airliner can accompany 320 guests in a three-class cabin configuration.
With the new Business cabin of WestJet also features an updated economy cabin, flat seats, including an upscale premium cabin. The airliner will be reconstructing of its 737 fleet to 737 MAX, a roll-out that will continue over the next 24 months.
